At Holy Trinity Day School, we are passionate about nurturing the whole child- cognitively, physically, emotionally, socially, and spiritually, using a wide variety of techniques, activities, and each child’s own interests. One of the means we use to further these goals is through our summer camp experiences.
This summer we will host five camp sessions. Each camp session lasts either 3 or 4 days, depending on the age of your child, and is structured around a different theme. Through an age-appropriate,
play-based curriculum, students will explore, create, and connect with the theme through meaningful,
hands-on activities geared toward preschoolers’ natural curiosity and investigative natures.

THEMES:
Camp 1: May 28- 30 Helping Hands: Helping Hands is a camp with a focus on kindness and helping
others through service. Young children love to help, participate, and serve.
Campers will raise awareness and funds for the Kellin Foundation, a local non-profit that helps to strengthen resilience among children, families, adults, and communities impacted by trauma. Campers will host a lemonade stand on campus (how fun is that!) with all proceeds going to the Kellin Foundation to assist in its efforts to provide free services that help break the cycles of trauma among children, adults, and families (www.kellinfoundation.org). Throughout the week, campers will be active
participants in making our community a better place through their own “helping hands.”
Camp 2: June 3- 6 Sizzling Science: Preschoolers’ love of investigation, questioning, and getting messy make them naturals in the field of science. Campers will explore several topics through fun activities that are geared towards their curious, active minds. It is sure to be a week full of scientific discovery.
Camp 3: June 10-13 Stars and Stripes Forever: Hip, Hip, Hooray for the USA! Campers will have a grand time celebrating our beautiful flag and slices of Americana through stories, crafts, songs, and games.
Camp 4- July 15- 18 Crazy Creations: Preschoolers love to imagine and create. This camp will focus on creating, constructing, and building using a variety of items and some basic principles of engineering. Young artists and builders will have a blast as they explore and experiment with materials such as legos, floam, beads, wood, paint and more. Let the creations begin.
Camp 5: July 22- 25 Shark Mania: Campers will learn about all about sharks and the ocean in a fun,
interactive way through crafts, games, and songs.
